Property Rights Alliance, an advocacy research group affiliated to Americans for Tax Reform, works with a growing list of more than 100 free-market think tanks around the world to promote and defend property rights. Property Rights, both physical and intellectual, are human rights. They allow property owners, inventors, artists, and entrepreneurs to own their work and have the full value of their assets counted in the formal financial system. PRA produces the annual International Property Rights Index to be used as a tool for business communities, academics, civic activists, and others who wish to highlight the essential role property rights play in creating a prosperous and just society.

PRA accepts, on a rolling basis, applications for the PRA Fellowship. PRA fellows are intimately involved in all levels of PRA work, they must be entrepreneurial, pay extremely close attention to detail, and be excellent writers. In addition with helping finalize the International Property Rights Index PRA fellows will produce op-eds, edit research papers, produce public commentary, and blogs; manage the PRA and IPRI websites; track and research evolving property rights issues; and represent PRA at public events and in coalition groups. The ideal candidate must have a higher-degree in public policy, economics, or related field; demonstrable interest in issues concerning international property rights; and be adept in the full Microsoft Office suite of products.
